One recent aviation rescue mission comes to mind out of countless customer stories about our portable heaters. It involves a historic flight to the Antarctic to rescue an ill American doctor who was stationed at a South Pole research center. A Twin Otter plane carrying a crew of four had to be especially equipped with skis to land on the ice and snow.
