HEAVY DUTY HYDRAULIC HANGAR JACKS Hydraulically-operated tripod jacks designed to raise the wing, nose or tail of aircraft to permit changing tires, inspecting and repairing tail wheel assembly, and inspecting engines. Rugged and dependable, used worldwide by airlines and repair firms on all types of military and commercial aircraft, they are useful for all types of maintenance and ground service. Effective in reducing maintenance cost and improving efficiency. The jacks consist of a hydraulic lifting unit that is mounted on tripod legs and connected to a pumping unit by a flexible, metal hose. A ram incorporating a manually-operated extension screw is used to take up the clearance between the ram and the load. Some of the tripod legs are equipped with wheels for easy positioning. |
